The Boston Redevelopment Authority has given the green light for a $15 million Boston real estate renovation project at 41-43 Westland Ave. in the Fenway that will add 48 loft-style condos in the neighborhood.
Catamount Management Corp. plans to convert the existing Symphony Garage to housing on the upper seven floors and renovate the other floors for 32 parking spaces for the residents. The top floor will have a new 6,500-square-foot rooftop.
In addition, the developer will contribute approximately $1.2 million to the city’s inclusionary development fund, which is money set aside for the maintenance and upkeep of affordable housing projects throughout the city.
